The Occupational Hygiene Association of Ontario (OHAO) represents occupational hygienists and other people interested in health and safety. While the activities of the Association are primarily within Ontario, membership is not limited to those within the province.
Through OHAO, members communicate with each other on a regular basis to increase awareness and learning.
The Association is involved in numerous workshops, seminars and conferences throughout the year. OHAO also co-sponsors conferences and symposia on occupational health topics with other groups with an interest in health and safety. In addition, OHAO schedules an annual vendor exhibition of equipment and related services to ensure members are fully aware of latest developments.
The OHAO newsletter, The OH Forum, mailed quarterly to all members, contains current information on occupational hygiene issues along with a list of workshops, seminars, conferences, and Association activities.
Members represent the Association on advisory boards and standard setting bodies.
OHAO also promotes occupational hygiene through its awards programs.
