Registration is now open for the OHAO 2024 Spring PDC (Wednesday, March 20) and Conference/AGM (Thursday, March 21). For Spring 2024 we have an interesting PDC on Selected Topics in Air, Surface and Dermal Sampling for Industrial Hygiene and have arranged a great lineup of speakers for the Spring Conference on topics including Hearing Protector Fit Testing, Heat Stress, Radiofrequency and ELF Radiation and more.

NOTICE OF OHAO Annual General Meeting
The OHAO Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2024 on or about 12:45 PM. The formal AGM package will be sent to OHAO members only via direct email within the next couple of weeks.
OHAO is excited to announce we are updating the name of our bi-annual conferences and PDCs, effective immediately. While the OHAO Spring Symposium and OHAO Fall Symposium branding have been with us from the very beginnings of OHAO, we have listened to the concerns raised by the membership, and it is time for a change.
The Symposium branding was found to be increasing the difficulty for prospective attendees to obtain approvals to attend, with approvers of such requests unclear that our events were an educational conference. A less academic name is also expected to help OAHO increase our audience for these events, allowing for promotion of the value of occupational hygiene to a more diverse audience.
To that end, we look forward to seeing you soon at our newly rebranded OHAO Spring Conference and PDC and OHAO Fall Conference and PDC.
The OHAO Board of Directors have decided to continue holding our Spring Conference/AGM as a virtual only option. This allows members from across the province to participate more easily and facilitates the running of the online AGM. The Fall Conference will continue as a hybrid (virtual and in-person) option.
